Miami Open runner-up Grigor Dimitrov has dated several high-profile celebrities, including the former girlfriend of Lewis Hamilton, over the years. Dimitrov, who was beaten by Jannik Sinner in Miami last weekend, is certainly no stranger to the dating scene having regularly been named as one of the ‘most handsome’ players on the ATP tour.Dimitrov was famously in a relationship with Maria Sharapova for two years, with the pair going public after the Madrid Open in 2013. They were the biggest power couple in tennis before splitting in 2015 in order to focus more on their respective careers.At the time, Dimitrov said: “The reasons for separating are many and I don’t see any point in listing them. We both have a full agenda and many obligations. This is probably the main reason. We have had very nice moments. Life goes on.”Before linking up with Sharapova, the Bulgarian was rumoured to have dated Serena Williams while they were both under the tutelage of coach Patrick Mouratoglou. Their apparent relationship did not last long, with the pair said to have broken up after less than a year shortly before Dimitrov began courting Sharapova.A feud reportedly went on to develop between Williams and Sharapova, who engaged in a public war of words after the former’s alleged relationship with Dimitrov had ended. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Williams seemed to talk about Sharapova dating Dimitrov although she never named Sharapova outright.”She’s so boring,” said Williams. “She’s still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And, hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it.”Sharapova went on to issue a fiery response to Williams in a Wimbledon press conference, saying: “She should be talking about her accomplishments, her achievements, rather than everything else that’s just getting attention and controversy.”After breaking up with Sharapova, Dimitrov went on to date pop star Nicole Scherzinger from early 2016. The former Pussycat Dolls singer, who was previously in a relationship with Hamilton, revealed she was freshly single while appearing as a judge on Australia’s Got Talent after splitting with Dimitrov in 2019.While they were together, Dimitrov admitted that he found things hard due to the long-distance nature of their relationship. He told MR PORTER Journal: “It’s not easy. The schedules are very heavy, but she’s doing a better job than I am at being able to come to most of the places I’m at.”Dimitrov later dated Lolita Osmanova, the daughter of a Russian billionaire, before linking up with his current girlfriend Madalina Ghenea. The couple are still believed to be together and Ghenea has been spotted watching her partner at various tournaments, including Wimbledon and the Madrid Open.
