Bareknuckle boxing champ Mike Perry has thrown down a challenge to Jake Paul, warning him of a street fight after he goes up against Mike Tyson. Perry, who used to fight in the UFC and is now a big name in bareknuckle boxing, has beaten tough fighters like Michael ‘Venom’ Page and Eddie Alvarez. He even faced Conor McGregor after winning against Luke Rockhold. Perry is keen on fighting Jake Paul and said to TMZ: “Jake Paul, man. If he hurts Mike Tyson, bro, let me get that. He’s not doing bareknuckle, but I wouldn’t put it past Jake Paul because he’s been doing stuff that people would say he’s afraid of and things like that. That’s partly what drew me to bare-knuckle was that so many were worried about it or afraid of it.”He added: “I’m like, ‘It seems real to me.’ So Jake, man, definitely issuing you a challenge. If you get through Mike Tyson, test yourself for real and let’s have a street fight. F*** Jake, he’s got some [talent], but I’d like to say I’m beating him as fast as he’s beating these taxi drivers, especially bareknuckle. I’ll hurt him and he’ll cry and run away and cower in the corner in the fetal position.”Perry trained with Paul before his match with Ben Askren, and ex-UFC star said he got beaten up. Perry was ready to fight Paul’s brother Logan last year and even came face-to-face with him, but Logan fought Dillon Danis instead. Paul will fight Tyson in the boxing ring, even though Tyson stopped boxing nearly 20 years ago and is 30 years older than Paul.Tyson only came back for one exhibition fight with Roy Jones Jr. in November 2020. “It’s crazy to think that in my second pro fight, I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on Mike Tyson’s undercard,” Paul said about the fight.”Now, less than four years later, I’m stepping up to face Tyson myself My sights are set on becoming a world champion, and now I have a chance to prove myself against the greatest heavyweight champion ever, the baddest man on the planet.”Viddal Riley, the ex-coach of Paul’s longtime rival KSI, is also keen on fighting – but only when he’s the cruiserweight champion of the world. “Only once I become world champion,” Riley exclusively declared to Express Sport. “That’s how I see it. I mean, life changes things.”If I don’t talk about this and this is going to happen there and this is going to happen there, because even though I’m only 26, it’s been enough years to realise things don’t go how you’ve been putting them to go. Do you know what I mean? It’s not how life works.”
